Plus, the pinstripe surrounds all the glass and hugs the parameter of the entire lower portion of the car, and on every side, it also tells people this is a special Firebird. Then again, people were already taking notice thanks to a coordinating gold wheel package that looked just like what came on the expensive GTA Trans Am. Inside there is more of the special treatment with gold Bandit II stitching on the floor mats and headrests. The AutoCheck and CarFAX show 3 owners, but it is actually a two owner car, because the 2nd owner moved to Florida and wanted a Florida title so they consider that the 3rd owner. It was purchased new in the Northeast, and resided inside during the winter, as it was only used as a spring-fall weekend toy. When the 2nd owner purchased it, it was brought to Florida, and used as a "condo car" seasonally when they came down each winter. The rest of the time, it lived in a climate controlled garage with a few other cars. We have had the car about 2 weeks now, and have driven it over 150 miles with zero issues. It has been safety checked, and has NO items that need addressed at this time. The factory Bright Red paint on the car is in remarkable condition, and shows only the lightest signs of normal use and driving. Being driven only 3,000 miles or so each year certainly helped to keep it nice, and it presents wonderfully from every angle. The minor blemishes you will find amount to small stone chips, a light scuff or abrasion, and minor marks. These are NOT damaged areas in any way, and the 150 photos provided below will show you that the car really presents incredibly well. Most are older, and have already been professionally touched up with correct finish touch up paint. I only point out the few minor marks because they exist, and I want you to know that you might find them. Finish is shiny, slick, and glossy, and the exterior shows the level of care the car was given by both the previous owners. There are NO thin spots, NO burned areas, NO faded areas, NO prior paint, NO dings, and NO dents on the cars exterior. Side trim, Trans Am side emblems, Ram Air hood decals, and WS6 rear badge on the car are all in fantastic condition, and show wonderfully. Rear tail lamp and back up lights are in like new condition and function perfectly. Front headlamp assemblies operate perfectly, and move in synch up and down at a flip of the switch. Both high and low beam work, as do the running lights and fog lamps. Power antenna works perfectly, and is straight as an arrow. Glass is in excellent condition all around with no stone chips or cracks. Factory 5-star show-polished rims are in amazing shape, and only the passenger front shows a small rub mark, while the rest appear beautifully. You can see them all in close detail in the 150 photos below. Tires are recent additions only a few months and approx. 700 miles ago. They still show like new, and have at least 95% of the usable tread life remaining. They are COOPER Zeon 275/40R17 correctly sized for the car. The black convertible top on the car is in very good condition, with no rips, tears, seam pulls, or damage evident. It was mainly stored with the top down, and the rear glass is in excellent condition as well. Overall, the exterior of the car is a solid 9 out of 10, and when you take the time to wash and wax it when you get it home, you can make it a 9.2. Inside, the car presents just as wonderfully, and continues to show the level of care it has received since new. Door jambs, rockers, and hinge areas are in great shape. Sill plate covers are damage free. Door panels, kick panels, and rear panels are damage and issue free. All switchgear for power windows, power locks, and power mirrors looks and operates perfectly. Carpeting is in remarkable condition, and shows no damage, staining, or issues. Floor mats are in wonderful condition front and back, although the driver side shows wear from being used since the car was new. Dash is perfect, with no cracks, damage, or sun fade. Gauge cluster looks and functions like new. Monsoon audio system with CD/CD Changer, and adjustable EQ works and sounds incredible! Factory heating and air conditioning controls look perfect, and everything works as it should to provide hot heat, and icy cold air conditioning. Power top button works perfectly, up or down, as does the traction control button. A 12 volt outlet with Cigar lighter is adjacent to that, although it has never been used, and the car has never been smoked in. Another 12v outlet is right below it, and the automatic shifter and E-brake handle are right in front it. Center console is perfect condition, with no damage or issues, and the lid is securely attached. Even the cup holder rubber insert is included! All A/C vents work and look like new. Steering wheel is clean and neat, with no damage or issues, and shows only the light patina one expects from high grade leather. Steering wheel controls for the radio all work as they should, and horn functions perfectly. Tilt column works, as do the turn signals, windshield wipers with intermittent setting, and the washer spray. The leather seats in the car are in wonderful condition, and only the driver side shows any real signs of wear, specifically on the outside upper bolster as shown in the photos. Power functions and bolster work on each of the front seats. Overall, the interior is a 8.2 out of 10, with the only items of note being the light wear on the driver seat side bolster, and worn driver floor mat. Trunk is in clean, neat, and issue free condition, and houses the 12 disc CD changer. Under the hood, you will see a clean, undetailed, and naturally clean engine and bay. Oil changes have been synthetic Mobil1 since new, without exception. A new battery was installed in September of this year, with a corresponding receipt. 2002 Pontiac Firebird in decent driver condition. Engine has just had new head gaskets installed and runs great. The body has some imperfections like some small dents in the hood and a cracked windshield that I assume was from hail. newer paint that is in good condition. The interier is in good condition also. No work is needed that I can tell, ready to be driven. I bought this car for a Winter project last year and haven't really got to work much on it and I want to move on to someting else.
